Project brief
Heath Farm in Partington, Greater Manchester, occupies an excellent location just outside Manchester city centre, offering easy access for commuters as well as convenient proximity to Cheshire and its surrounding open areas. With good local schools and amenities, Heath Farm’s 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes will establish a vibrant community meeting many different needs.
Homes are designed for modern living, with stylish and contemporary fixtures and fittings, open plan kitchen diners and well-appointed bedrooms, and Heath Farm’s site plan includes affordable homes that help first-time buyers get a step on the ladder.
Mican Plastering’s services
Mican Plastering is appointed by Linden Homes to deliver internal dry lining plastering services and external rendering to Phases 1 and 2 of Heath Farm. Starting on site in Q1 2021, our team has supported Linden’s client and contractor teams throughout initial phases of the development, employing safe Covid working practices and with all work managed and quality assured by our dedicated site supervisor.
80 homes are to be delivered in Phase 1, and a further 68 in Phase 2. Mican Plastering is using British Gypsum products at Heath Farm, as specified by our client in its development plan, with a Weber scraped finish to the externals of identified plots which will complement the semi-rural styling of the homes on site. British Gypsum’s Specsure® warranty provides an additional layer of protection for homebuyers, giving customers confidence in Mican’s plastering systems.
Project completion
Mican has now completed internal dry lining plastering services for Phase 1 and 2 at Heath Farm. The majority of homes are now sold and occupied, with further phases to be released by Linden in due course.
