Based in Chester, Cheshire, Watkin Jones’ roots trace back to 1791 when Watkin Jones & Son was first established. The company built its first private residential homes in 1927 and since then has grown to encompass homes divisions, student accommodation and becoming a plc in 2016. The company remains in the leadership of the Watkin Jones family.

Mican Plastering’s services

Mican Plastering was appointed by Watkin Jones to deliver internal dry lining to all plots on Phase 1 of Alexandra Gardens. Starting on site in late 2022, Mican’s team has supported Watkin Jones and its appointed contractors throughout initial phases of the development, with all work managed and quality assured by our dedicated site manager.

84 4-bedroom homes are to be delivered on Phase 1’s 15.75-acre site, targeted in particular at families. Mican Plastering is using industry-leading plastering systems to finish homes at Alexandra Gardens, backed by our team’s unique skills and knowledge to ensure the prompt progression and completion of beautiful new homes in Crewe, Cheshire.

Project completion

Construction and work on site by all contractors, including Mican Plastering, is ongoing. Initial plots are now being released for sale, with further plots to be released by Watkin Jones in due course.
