Industry-leading, national energy-saving housebuilder Engie is dedicated to building the perfect home for its customers through a combination of affordable rent, shared ownership and open market sales. This latest development at The Woodlands, Winsford in Cheshire supports the town’s net-zero carbon strategy through the implementation of efficient heating systems, photovoltaic solar panels and cutting-edge building materials, as well as ponds, ecological zones, open spaces, a footpath and new grass playing fields.

The Verdin Exchange development is a partnership between housing providers Qwest Homes (itself a joint venture between Engie and Cheshire West and Chester Council), EQUANS, The Riverside Group and Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Engie has appointed Mican Plastering to deliver internal dry lining plastering contractor services to The Woodlands, completing the Cheshire site’s 268 much-needed new homes with a clean, precise plastering finish that’s ready for decoration.

Project completion

Appointed in Q2 2022 and with early plots continuing to be released for reservation and sale, Mican’s Plastering contractor team in Cheshire works alongside the site’s contractors to progress all plots towards completion in due course.
