Project brief

Situated just outside Crewe in the Cheshire village of Shavington, Shavington Park is a Persimmon development offering 2, 3 and 4-bedroom properties across 2 phases. Homebuyers will enjoy excellent access to open countryside and the local Wybunbury Moss Nature Reserve, as well as easy transport links by road and national rail services from Crewe.

Mican Plastering is appointed to phase 2 of Shavington Park, comprising 156 plots in total which include 2- and 3-bedroom bungalows, apartments, semi-detached and detached 4-bedroom family homes. Phase 2 also contains 47 affordable housing plots, creating much-needed new homes for the whole community. Each plot is carefully planned by Persimmon to deliver what modern homebuyers and families are looking for, incorporating open living spaces, comfortable living and dining rooms and bedrooms which encourage rest and relaxation.

Mican Plastering’s services

Mican Plastering is delivering internal plastering and dry lining services to Phase 2 of Shavington Park using British Gypsum products. As an accredited installer, Mican Plastering’s work will be covered by British Gypsum’s unique SpecSure® warranty scheme, giving our client and its customers additional quality reassurance on every plot.

Having started on the early Phase 2 homes in Q4 2021, Mican will work alongside Persimmon and our clients other appointed contractors to complete plastering works on all plots. Teams are expertly supervised by our own site supervisors, and work quality assured to the high standards we’ve been known for since 1975. Employing safe working practices and maintaining good communication throughout our time on site, Mican progresses plots efficiently to complete each buyer’s new home on time.

Project completion

Construction of Phase 2 at Shavington Park, Crewe, is underway with early plots now roofed. Mican began work on our first 2 plots in Q4 2021, with the site due to progress considerably during 2022.

Early plot sales have been released for reservation, building on the success of Phase 1 which is now completed and occupied.
