Project brief

The Hollies, a small and exclusive development of 38 new homes by Kingswood Homes, enjoys a wonderful rural location whilst remaining easily accessible for the M6, Lancaster and Preston. Homes have been designed with their surroundings in mind, featuring muted, classic styles but internally offering contemporary fixtures and fittings to suit modern families.

Mican was delighted to continue our work with Kingswood, appointed to deliver internal plastering contractor services to all units on the development. Using market-leading materials and with a quality-assured finish, Mican’s work complements these unique and highly desirable new homes.

Mican Plastering’s services

Mican Plastering was appointed by Kingswood to undertake internal dry lining and plastering for The Hollies. Comprising 38 3- to 5-bedroom properties, internal spaces are generous and we appointed a dedicated site team and site supervisor to deliver this project alongside our client and its other contractors.

As per our client’s specification, we used quality British Gypsum materials. Mican works closely with British Gypsum as part of its SpecSure® warranty scheme, giving homebuyers at The Hollies confidence that plastering systems and products have been applied with expert skill.

Project completion

Mican completed work at The Hollies in early 2021, having worked on site safely during the COVID-19 pandemic with all work supervised by our own team.

Site sales have progressed well, as anticipated for an exclusive development in an excellent location. Mican is delighted to have played a part in the completion of The Hollies, which we’re sure will be an exceptional community for buyers.
