Project brief
The Sanctuary Hub at Jones Homes’ The Sanctuary development in Handforth, Wilmslow, will create an excellent focal point for this mature-living residential community. The community facility sits at the heart of the exclusive gated village, offering a wealth of on-site facilities for residents.
Mican enjoys an excellent working relationship with Jones Homes, and has already completed plastering work to the site’s bespoke cottages and apartments. We were pleased to be appointed to complete The Hub, maintaining the quality of plastering work right throughout this exclusive Wilmslow development.
Mican Plastering’s services
Jones appointed Mican to undertake internal dry lining and external rendering plastering services for The Hub, and work by our team commenced in early 2021. Managed by our experienced site supervisors, Mican is committed to completing this leisure and community facility to the high standards we maintain across every project.
The Hub will complement The Sanctuary’s residential properties, with external render completed using K-Rend to a scrape finish. The Sanctuary is an award-winning development, achieving the NHBC Seal of Excellence in 2019 in recognition of the quality of Jones’ and its contractors’ work, and Mican is pleased to have been involved throughout.
Project completion
Mican’s work at The Hub has been underway during the first half of 2021, creating versatile internal spaces for residents to enjoy as the pandemic restrictions start to ease.
Billed as the ‘Sanctuary Club’, The Hub is set to play a major part in the success of The Sanctuary and add considerable value to the development’s properties, enriching lives by bringing the community together through active and varied lifestyles.
