Traditional plastering systems for North West clients

Most commonly used in conversion projects for listed or older buildings, traditional plastering projects are typically undertaken to complement historical styles, replicating the finish for the modern reinvention of a property.

Applied internally with a skimmed finish, either a traditional gypsum-based or timber lath and lime-based backing coat prepares a property for decoration. This specialist, bespoke work is often utilised only on single or small-scale development projects which require additional attention to detail. Externally, a lime render may be applied to complete the property’s stunning renovation.

Used where specified, traditional plastering systems allow for a sympathetic restoration which creates a desirable and unique home. Mican Plastering is pleased to have supported client Jones Homes in particular with traditional restoration projects.
