Mican Plastering has started work on site in Winsford, Cheshire, supporting our client Engie at its 268-plot development in the town.

The Verdin Exchange development is a partnership between housing providers QWest Homes (itself a joint venture between Engie and Cheshire West and Chester Council),EQUANS, The Riverside Group and Cheshire West and Chester Council, providing affordable, zero-carbon, 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom homes across 17 acres.

Plots will be made available through a combination of affordable rent, shared ownership and open market sales, and the scheme supports the local authority's net-zero carbon strategy through implementation of efficient heating systems, photovoltaic solar panels and cutting-edge building materials, as well as ponds, ecological zones, open spaces, a footpath and new grass playing fields.
